G&S 1958/9

Do you have memories of appearing in the G & S operas? Did you have a major part or were you a chorus "girl"?

I played Ralph Rackstraw in 'Pinafore' in 1958 and Nanki-Poo in 'The Mikado' in 1959. The photo in the programme with the caption 'Flirting is capital' (http://www.rgs.tonyhare.co.uk/gands/mikado59/mikado59.htm) shows Andrew Dixon (Yum-Yum) and me. (Or 'myself', as everyone says these days.)Image

Welcome to the Board John and thanks for your comments. It is nice to be able to put real living memories to these old photographs instead of them just lying around collecting dust.
I have added your observations to my website page.
Is there anybody else out there who have spotted themselves in the G & S photographs?

Tony
