Postby John Saunders » Wed Jan 18, 2017 1:22 pm

Some sad news - the RGS's first rugby international Ted Woodward has died aged 85. John Edward Woodward, born 17 April 1931, died 16 Jan 2017, was at the RGS from 1944 to 1949. Ted played for Wasps throughout his rugby career, was capped 15 times for England between 1952 and 1956, and later set up a successful sports retail business with a rugby colleague, Woodward and Stalder.
