Jeremy Lingard

Postby John Saunders » Wed Jul 18, 2012 4:08 pm

Chris Betteley (RGS 1963-69) recently tracked down former RGS master Jeremy Lingard. Jeremy taught at the RGS from 1966 onwards (until at least 1971, perhaps longer). He is now living on a farm in Wales, having retired some years ago. Jeremy should have been in the 1967 school photo on the website but he seems to have avoided it. Jeremy says he would be glad to hear from any other old boys who remember him. I can put people in touch with him if you email me.

Hi,

I was at the RGS from 1967 to 1974, and knew "Jez" well. Apart from him being my Biology master every year up until his departure, I went on several of his summer camps to Tremadoc. It would be great to get in touch with him again, and I would be grateful if you could let me have his contact information.

Best wishes

Ian Saunders

Hi Ian,

Jez Lingard was clearly a very popular teacher at the RGS as you are not the first who has asked after him.

Chris Betteley told me he chatted with Jez a while back and sent me this photo of him (around 2012, I think)...
